Thank you for participating in the "Read the Bible in 30 days" course!
You are humble enough to say that you want to read the whole Bible along with your fellow Christians around the world! I'm sure this has been planned by the Living God and your efforts will not be in vain. I truly believe that in your 30 days of Bible reading, you will see how amazing our God is, the extent of His involvement throughout history to save His people and the wonderful plan God has for each of us before we eventually arrive in the promise land.
People often ask why choose 30 days, why not 60, 90 or even a year? How can we get anything out of the Bible in such a short time?
Well, here is the explanation. We are taking the 30 day commitment because this is a general study where we are aiming to get an overall picture of the whole Bible. A grand picture of the whole book.
We strongly suggest every reader to have a piece of paper by their side whilst doing their reading so that you can jot down any questions or thoughts that arise while reading.
We don't want you to dwell too long on the questions and thoughts because it will slow down your reading. You can address them on a weekly basis when we will collate several of the most difficult questions and provide an answer/explanation.
This simultaneous Bible reading movement will bring all of us together in spirit eventhough we are separated by time, distance and country.
We are all in this together and we need to support each other through prayer. That's why we will start a prayer network in which we will give you names of people in the 30 day Bible reading group to pray for. Please inform us of your First name and country (via email), also the names of each persons that are joining you so that we can start the prayer network.
Remember! Everyone reads at different paces and have their own schedules therefore its important you find the right time and place for you to do your reading so you can get the most out of your reading.
